Madrisa has specialized in the needs of families. There is a special practice area in the children's snow parks in Madrisa Land and in the Madrisa Park Klosters. Three magic carpets carry the little ski bunnies up to the top. And with a snow bike (available from Intersport at the mountain station), you can ride down the slopes sitting down with your skis strapped on - ideal for beginners.
Beginners, families and leisure skiers in particular feel very much at home on the predominantly blue and red slopes on the Rinerhorn. In addition, the ski lift bar is usually handed out personally. Children love the magic forest. Witches are up to mischief there and provide fun in the snow with small bumps and jumps.
In winter, covered conveyor belts run in the ski practice areas on Bolgen and Bünda to transport the little ones up the slope. The two "magic carpets" are available free of charge to guests and locals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults can also use the magic carpets.
Speaking of Bolgen at the foot of the Jakobshorn: here you will find the Kids Slope Home of Winter. This slope combines a classic obstacle course including a slalom run and bumps with an adventure show featuring the snow dragon Flurin and his friends. Ideal for children who are already independent on easy slopes. The highlight is a handshake in the shape of a snow dragon that lets out a whoop when it comes into contact with your hand. There is also a large figure of the dragon Flurin at the Carjöler lift hut. A suitable subject for the family photo book.
On the Bolgenhang in Davos Platz stands the first t-bar ski lift in the world - the Bolgen lift constructed in 1934. It is 344 metres long and requires a journey time of 2 min. On Bolgen one also finds the practice area for the Swiss snow sports school in Davos and the Top Secret ski school with the children's ski schools. Children from 3 years are playfully familiarised with skis in the ski kindergarten "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village". The "Swiss Snow Playground" : Like on a playground, children playfully take their first steps on snow. They learn how to glide, balance and slide on skis or snowboard. Tip: Also suitable for adult ski beginners.
Right next to the lift is the twin chairlift Carjöl. The first section provides access to a beginner piste, ideal for the first winter sports experiences and for beginners, who prefer chairlifts to t-bar ski lifts.
The Bünda area in Davos Dorf is also home to a further practice section for the Swiss snow sports school in Davos, complete with practice lift, ski courses for beginners and advanced skiers, as well as the ski kindergarten "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village" for children from 3 years.
For the younger holiday guests in Wiesen, there is a small but nice practice lift right in the village, which is operated by the Wiesen ski school.
Here the little ones are the biggest. A modern infrastructure specially tailored to the needs of the little ones makes it easy to get started with snow sports.
