Davos is known for its nightlife, which is similar to that of urban centers - and is within walking distance. Klosters also offers small but fine nightlife gems that captivate with their character.
The nightlife in Davos Klosters can start in broad daylight. Especially in winter, there are numerous snow bars and sun terraces in the ski areas. First and foremost, the Jatzhütte on the Jakobshorn. Once you've skied down into the valley, the fun starts all over again: for example in the Davos Bolgen Plaza. When the sun goes down, the interior of the Bolgen Plaza turns into a party venue with a high flirt factor. At least until 7 p.m. Then the party continues in the après-ski temple Chalet Bello, just 50 meters away, or later in the Tijuana Bar. You can safely keep your ski boots on the whole time. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, stop by the Stall Valär. Also just a stone's throw away is the Bolgenschanze. It has long been a cult and is considered one of the most famous snowboard bars in Switzerland.
Après-ski fans will also find the right thirst quenchers at the valley stations of Parsenn, the largest ski area in Davos Klosters. In Davos Dorf, it's worth visiting the après-ski bar Parsenn Gada - directly opposite the Parsenn cable car. The Montana Bar is also a good starting point for a night-time tour of Davos. Those who prefer the valley run to Klosters can go straight to Graströchni, where coffee with a shot in a variety of variations creates a great atmosphere.
If you prefer live music, you should stop by the Hard Rock Hotel Davos every Friday: During the Friday Night Live Music Sessions, national and international music stars and newcomers perform. Collectibles from famous show stars on the walls, such as a silk shirt from Elvis Presley or musical instruments from Bruce Springsteen and George Harrison, create the right atmosphere.
Speaking of live music: In the Platzhirsch Club Davos, well-known artists perform live at theme parties from 10 p.m. onwards. 90s pop stars such as "Rednex" with their hit song "Cotten Eye Joe" or "Mr. President" with his hit "Coco Jambo" are revived here. But also current après-ski heroes such as "Lorenz Büffel" with his party song "Johnny Däpp" or Peter Wackel, who became famous with "Mallorca ist nur einmal a Jahr". In addition, the well-known "MTV Hauptstadt. Club-Veranstaltungen" with international DJs take place here every month.
