What is TERRA SECCA?
Terra secca is a modelling and sculpture technique based on dried clay that dates back to the Renaissance. The knowledge surrounding this technique has been lost over the centuries and is to be revitalised in an interdisciplinary project involving art and science. The aim is to discover new recipes and application methods for the visual arts. The focus is on modifying and experimenting with local clays.
