Programme
The Schatzalp funicular railway takes us up to the Schatzalp at an altitude of 1861 metres. After a brief explanation of the historic house, we immerse ourselves in the past and the writing of Mann's famous novel on the Thomas Mann Trail. The trail leads us through 10 literary stations to the former forest sanatorium, now the Waldhotel Davos, where Katia Mann spent 6 months in 1912. Over coffee and cake, you have the opportunity to find out more about the Waldhotel and its exciting past and can also visit an original sanatorium room.
