Autumn tip: Hiking on the dwarf trail in Klosters

Klosters has redesigned the dwarf trail in the fir forest above ‘Aeuja’. Weather permitting, it is ideal for an autumn walk and for anyone who loves fairy tales. But that's not all: play stations such as a giant marble run turn it into a forest adventure.

Anyone walking along the Dwarf Trail soon realises: roots, forest floor, ferns, clearings and moss-covered stones are the perfect backdrop for stories about Purzel the Dwarf and his friends.Ten stations along the 2.8 kilometre trail each tell a fairy tale. In autumn, when there is already snow at higher altitudes, the hike with its play stations is an experience.

An adventure playground
The forest is also an adventure playground: with a wooden dwarf tower and large slide, a ‘dwarf sports ground’ with balancing elements and a station where children can feel and guess objects. The giant marble run, which winds several metres through the forest, is particularly popular with children.

How to reach the starting point
The Dwarf Trail in Klosters is easily accessible by public transport. The ‘Brachweg’ bus stop is just a few minutes' walk from the starting point. There is a paid car park behind the Arena Klosters on Doggilochstrasse, very close to the start of the forest adventure.
